No meat, no wheat, no dairy, no sugar

I'm doing the brown rice cleanse diet on the recommendation of my naturopath.

Day One: Surprisingly, I have no headache due to lack of coffee. Am wondering if maybe I ingested some accidentally - have been racking my brain to remember any blackouts.

Was not the bright and shining star that I usually am on Monday mornings.

Am not the bright and shining star that I usually am on Monday night. Will keep you posted on my progress by the end of tomorrow night after my Biology class. Gerk.

If you decide to do the plate of steamed onions that's mentioned in the instructions, may I suggest you use Vidallia Onions. They are in season now and are super sweet...I have been known to on occasion eat them raw.

My sister did something similar to this about a year ago and she felt GREAT. It totally cleansed her system and she got rid of acne she'd been battling for year!

Good Luck!

Sounds like a very healthy plan. And having done the no coffee thing for the required number of months, I can tell you you'll be fine. It's the no sugar that would get me.

I agree with alissa. For a different reason, however; my diet changed. I found out recently I am severely allergic to Milk, Egg Whites, Egg Yolks... and minor allergy to Shrimp. I am basically a Meat-Eating Vegan. I have never felt better nor had so much energy in my life. If you maintain the diet as a lifestyle [not a recommendation... an opinion, you may be surprised how healthy you feel and are long-term]

Ps. No dairy, No sugar... great steps. No Meat? Couldnt do it. And Vegetables [agree with krista] always great.
